Can athlete's foot be transmitted to babies?

Can athlete's foot be transmitted to babies?

As we all know, athlete's foot is contagious. So can it be contagious to babies? Of course, athlete's foot can also be transmitted to babies. Adults may know to avoid touching parts of the body affected by athlete's foot, but babies don't know this. Parents need to pay attention and not let their babies touch or play with the slippers of people with athlete's foot. Parents should also pay more attention to the hygiene of their babies' feet.

1. Maintain hygiene

When babies learn to crawl or walk, their feet will often get dirty every day. Whether indoors or outdoors, you must wash your baby's feet more often, especially for babies whose feet sweat easily.

2. Soak your feet in warm water

We can usually soak our feet before going to bed, which is really good for relieving fatigue. It is best to leave this task to the father.

3. Regular massage

If your baby cannot walk yet or is not yet willful, you can massage him more often. I have posted a video of baby massage before, and it can actually be used until the baby is one year old.

4. Go barefoot

You see, we often see grandpas and grandmas walking barefoot in the park, walking on cobblestones and so on, which is actually good for the body.

5. Keep warm

We all know that if you expose your feet when you sleep, it can cause a cold, so you must pay more attention to the room temperature. 25~27 is the best.

Then, you should put socks on your baby according to the temperature. Generally, the baby will wear more socks in winter, but not in summer. Just pay attention to not let the baby kick off the quilt. Use a larger quilt or sleeping bag, and there will be no problem when traveling.

Secondly, you should pay more attention to the quality of socks and shoes. It is better to be a little more expensive. Don't buy fakes or products with strong odors, and the quality will basically be fine.

I often see many people with athlete's foot, so I wrote this article today. The main reason is that athlete's foot is really easy to infect, similar to hand, foot and mouth disease, and you can get it if you don't pay attention to hygiene.

In fact, if hands and feet are treated early, they will heal quickly, but athlete's foot is different. Once it occurs, it is extremely difficult to treat. Mothers who have encountered this will definitely know it, so try to pay more attention and don't let your baby get this difficult athlete's foot.
