What are the symptoms of stomach problems?

Gastric diseases include gastric ulcer, chronic gastritis, acute gastritis, etc. Gastric disease is a chronic disease, and you can regulate your stomach through daily diet. Eat more millet porridge, egg drop soup, milk, peanuts, etc. to nourish the stomach. Drink more warm water to facilitate digestion and promote body metabolism. Don't be stressed and insist on exercising to promote digestion. What are the symptoms of gastric disease? Let’s take a look at it next.

1. Acute gastritis

Patients with acute gastritis often develop the disease suddenly. Patients may feel a dull pain in the upper abdomen, where the stomach is, or simply discomfort, such as a bloated feeling. There may be symptoms of nausea and vomiting.

Some patients with acute gastritis may have tarry stools, clinically known as black stools, or blood in the vomit, which indicates symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding and a considerable amount of bleeding, and they should be sent to the hospital immediately.

2. Chronic gastritis

Patients with chronic gastritis may experience different symptoms. They may not feel any discomfort at all, or they may only experience indigestion, nausea and vomiting, or dull stomach pain.

3. Gastric ulcer

1. The pain is regular and rhythmic, that is, the pain occurs after eating, and the pain is relieved when the food is digested. But the process repeats itself after the next meal.

2. The patient will experience indigestion, loss of appetite, dull pain or swelling in the upper abdomen, etc.

3. Like acute gastritis, severe attacks of gastric ulcers can also cause symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, such as vomiting blood or black stools.

4. If severe pain occurs suddenly and the abdominal muscles are abnormally tense, it hurts when pressed, and the pain worsens the moment you release your hands, then you should be alert to the possibility of gastric ulcer perforation causing acute abdomen, and you must be rushed to the hospital for treatment immediately.

4. Dietary taboos

1. People with excessive stomach acid should avoid concentrated broth and acidic foods to avoid causing more stomach acid secretion. You can use milk, vegetable puree, starch, bread, etc. The taste should be light and less salt.

2. People with too little stomach acid can be given thick broth or gravy to stimulate the secretion of stomach acid, help digestion and promote appetite.

3. Avoid smoking and drinking, and do not overeat or have irregular eating patterns.

4. Avoid foods that are difficult to digest and highly irritating, such as coffee and spicy foods.
