What are the small issues to pay attention to when checking for lung cancer? 7 small issues to note when checking for lung cancer

Many people feel depressed after hearing that they have lung cancer, thinking that they will die. In fact, the early stage of lung cancer is not that exaggerated. Going to the hospital for treatment in the early stage can still control the disease and your life will not be threatened. However, a series of examinations are required before treatment. These examinations are to determine what treatment method to use. Let's take a look at what examinations are needed!

1. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy examination. This is an older technology that is now also used as a means to distinguish benign or malignant diseases and is one of the lung cancer examinations.

2. Sputum cytology. Sputum cytology (sputum test) has been widely used in the diagnosis of lung cancer. Sputum test does not require expensive equipment, is simple and easy to perform, is painless to the patient, and has a wide range of applications. Lung cancer tests, including sputum tests, can also be used to screen people at high risk of lung cancer.

3. Bronchoscopy: Bronchoscopy is an effective method for diagnosing lung cancer. It can observe the location and range of the tumor, obtain tissue for pathological examination, and infer the possibility of treatment options based on the condition of the vocal cords, trachea and carina.

4. Mediastinoscopy: Mediastinoscopy is an effective means of diagnosing mediastinal lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.

5. CTpET examination. CT examination is superior to conventional X-ray examination to a great extent. pET examination is currently the safest and most effective means to determine whether lung cancer is benign or malignant. It is non-invasive, with an accuracy rate of over 95%, and is also a lung cancer examination measure.

6. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Lung cancer examinations include MRI, which has better contrast and resolution than CT and is easier to identify and clarify the relationship between substantial masses and blood vessels.

7. X-ray examination. Chest X-ray is the most important examination in the diagnosis of lung cancer. It is true that lung cancer can be detected by sputum. Primary lung cancer originates from the bronchial mucosal epithelium, so tumor cells will fall off into the lumen and be discharged with sputum. Therefore, cancer cells can be found in sputum.

If you are also a lung cancer patient, please go to the hospital in time to do the above-mentioned examinations, and wait for the report at home after the examination! After the report comes out, the doctor will develop a reasonable treatment plan based on your situation. You only need to fully cooperate with the doctor's treatment. Don't give up treatment when you hear that you have lung cancer. This will only aggravate the condition.
