5. Oral calcium supplements given to people with a family history of colon and rectal cancer and a high tendency to colon and rectal cancer can reduce the incidence of cancer. The most commonly used drugs for chemical prevention are vitamin AE and β-carotene, as well as 4-HPR. Large doses of vitamin C are also commonly used to prevent polyp formation.

6. Do some physical exercise, preferably 30 minutes of physical activity every day. Studies have found that people who are more active at work are 40% to 50% less likely to develop colorectal cancer than those who sit at their desks. Since there is feces in the colon most of the time, high activity helps the feces pass through the colon quickly. There are carcinogens in the feces. The longer it stays in the colon, the more chances the carcinogens have to contact the intestinal wall, and the greater the possibility of colorectal cancer. Increasing activity can reduce the content of hormones in the intestine, thereby reducing the possibility of colorectal cancer. Therefore, the prevention of colorectal cancer also requires 30 minutes of activity every day.
