Which painkiller is the best?

Which painkiller is the best?

When people feel that the pain in their bodies is unbearable, they can only take painkillers, but the choice of such drugs must be approved by a doctor, otherwise it will cause serious harm to their bodies, and even inevitable sequelae, resulting in drug resistance. Therefore, when necessary, ibuprofen and some antibiotics can be used to relieve the pain.

Category 1 : Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Aspirin, ibuprofen, indomethacin, paracetamol, phenylbutazone, rofecoxib, celecoxib, etc. It has a relatively weak analgesic effect, is non-addictive, is widely used, has definite efficacy, and is used for common pain. Such as cold, fever, muscle aches, colds, fatigue headaches, neuralgia.

Category 2 : Centrally acting analgesics. Tramadol is a synthetic central analgesic, belonging to the second class of psychotropic drugs.

Miracle drug. The analgesic effect of tramadol is stronger than that of general antipyretic analgesics, and its analgesic effect is 1/10 of that of morphine. It is mainly used for various moderate acute pains and postoperative pain.

Category 3 : Narcotic analgesics. Representatives include opioids such as morphine and pethidine. These drugs have a strong analgesic effect, but long-term use can cause addiction. This type of drug has a strict management system and is mainly used for patients with advanced cancer.

Category 4 : antispasmodics and analgesics. It is mainly used to treat spasmodic pain of the gastrointestinal tract and other smooth muscles, such as colic in the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, and urinary tract. Representative drugs include atropine, propantheline, belladonna tablets, scopolamine, etc.

Category 5 : Anti-anxiety analgesics. Patients with headaches are often accompanied by anxiety, tension and uneasiness. Tension headaches are more severe for patients because of the tension and contraction of facial muscles. Anti-anxiety drugs can stabilize emotions and relax muscles, so they are also used to treat headaches. Representative drugs include diazepam.

1. For common chronic pain such as neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain, various types of arthritis, fever accompanied by headache, toothache, acute sprain and other acute pain, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics should be the first choice, such as Fenbid, Voltaren, Celecoxib, etc.;

2. For cancer patients who are in pain, various treatment measures should be taken decisively to relieve the patients' mental and physical suffering.

3. Prevent drug tolerance: Patients who use analgesics for a long time due to chronic pain may have drug tolerance problems. At the same time, the longer the medication is used, the larger the dosage required, and various adverse reactions will follow. Methods to prevent or reduce drug tolerance include: using auxiliary drugs in combination as much as possible to enhance the analgesic effect; alternating different types of analgesics instead of using only one drug; gradually adjusting the drug dosage after the patient's pain is relieved, and the interval between medications can also be appropriately extended; and coordinating other analgesic methods for treatment at the same time.

5. Beware of adverse gastrointestinal events: Taking painkillers, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics, may cause adverse gastrointestinal events such as indigestion, nausea, ulcers, and even perforation and bleeding. Patients who need to take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics for a long time and have gastrointestinal risk factors should choose selective COX-2 inhibitors that are relatively safe for the gastrointestinal tract, that is, selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics such as celecoxib.
