Vasculitis is a serious blood disease. It usually occurs in the patient's feet because it can cause poor blood circulation in our body and may also cause blockage. Therefore, the easiest part to find is our feet. After getting vasculitis, many patients will have ulcers on their feet. So how to diagnose vasculitis? The diagnosis of vasculitis is relatively simple. First, you need to see a doctor. After seeing the clinical manifestations, if you suspect vasculitis, you should do necessary examinations, such as ultrasound and CT. After the examination, vasculitis can basically be diagnosed easily. The tests for vasculitis generally include the following: ① Skin temperature measurement: Checking the skin temperature of different parts of the limbs and comparing the limbs on both sides can show the degree and range of the decrease in skin temperature of the affected limb, which helps to understand the location of arterial occlusion and the degree of ischemia. When the skin temperature of the affected limb is 2° lower than that of the healthy side, it indicates insufficient blood supply. ② Electrical impedance blood flow measurement, using a blood flow meter to measure tissue impedance to understand blood supply conditions and vascular elasticity. The waveform of blood flow in the affected limb shows that the peak amplitude of the ascending branch is reduced and the descending speed of the descending branch is slowed down. The degree of change is parallel to the degree of lesions in the affected limb. ③ Doppler ultrasound vascular measurement and blood flow measurement uses a Doppler ultrasound diagnostic device to directly explore the affected arteries, which can display the morphology of the diseased arteries, the diameter of the blood vessels, the blood flow rate, etc. ④Arteriography can clearly show the location, degree and range of arterial lesions, as well as the status of collateral circulation. However, arterial angiography can cause adverse consequences such as vasospasm, aggravated limb ischemia, and vascular damage, so it is not suitable for routine use and is generally only considered before vascular reconstructive surgery. The first measurement of skin temperature and palpation of the dorsalis pedis artery can be performed by yourself at home, while the rest need to be performed in the hospital. It is recommended to go to a regular hospital for treatment. The disease has a high disability rate. There should be no delay. The full name of vasculitis is "thromboangiitis obliterans", which refers to an allergic inflammation occurring in blood vessels, leading to segmental stenosis and occlusion of small and medium-sized arteries, causing loss of nutrition to the extremities, and in severe cases, ulcers and necrosis. It is a more stubborn vascular disease, not an inflammatory manifestation of the blood vessel wall itself, and has nothing to do with bacterial infection. The key points of diagnosis are pain in the toes of the lower limbs, accompanied by migratory superficial phlebitis or intermittent claudication. The dorsalis pedis artery pulse is weakened or absent. The toes become persistently cold, the skin becomes pale or cyanotic, and even extremity ulcers or dry gangrene may occur. The diagnosis of this disease is based on clinical symptoms and examinations. You can do a coagulation test, vascular color ultrasound, etc. to see if the blood is in a hypercoagulable state and understand the specific vascular condition. This will identify the disease |
