Butter-free cookie recipe

Butter-free cookie recipe

Cookies are a niche pastry that are priced for the general public. Their prices are not too high, but it is impossible for an average person to afford to eat them every day. The biggest feature of cookies is their mellow taste and crispy texture, and a big contributor to this is butter. However, some girls want to eat cookies but are afraid of getting fat and don’t want to eat butter. In fact, they can make their own butter-free cookies. You can make it without adding butter, but the taste will definitely be affected.

How to make butter-free cookies

Prepare 1 egg, 80 grams of corn oil, 135 grams of low-gluten flour, 50 grams of white sugar (if you like sweet food, you can add 10 grams more), tools include a magic cooking stick with a foam knife, utensils for holding ingredients, and an electronic scale for weighing. There is also a basin without oil or water, and a scraper.

Beat the eggs in corn oil

Press the cooking stick with the foam knife to the bottom of the cup for 2 seconds, then slowly lift it up.

Scrape into a clean basin with a scraper

Add half of the sugar in the recipe and stir evenly.

Add the other half of the sugar and stir until combined.

Sift in flour (be sure to sift in, otherwise it will easily cause lumps)

Cut and mix evenly, do not stir back and forth, otherwise the flour will become glutenous and the pattern of the cookies will disappear.

Wipe it and check for any pimples.

A piping bag with a real piping nozzle.

Place the piping bag in a tall cup and use a spatula to scrape in the batter.

Put baking paper on the baking tray (put a little oil on the bottom to prevent the paper from being lifted up when squeezing the cookies, I put too much oil on it).

Preheat the oven to 160°~170°.

Adjust the squeezing speed according to the thickness of the batter. Squeeze the thinner the faster, and the thicker the slower. For example, squeeze the vegetable oil thinner for 3 circles (because there will be an oil core if it is squeezed too thick), and squeeze the butter thicker for 4~5 circles (no problem at all)

There should be some space between each one, otherwise they will stick together. How to make butter-free cookies

Step 14

Place in preheated oven. Bake at 160-170 degrees for 15-20 minutes, depending on the conditions of your oven.

It came out of the oven and it was ok. Although it can’t compare to the butter cookies, this one made with corn oil is healthier. (Note that you cannot use peanut oil because it cannot be whipped).
