Symptoms of lymph node hyperplasia

Symptoms of lymph node hyperplasia

Lymph node hyperplasia is a relatively common disease at present. Because the lymph is originally used for detoxification, it is normal for the lymph to have diseases. Moreover, the lymph will slowly disappear over a period of time, and finally cause repeated inflammatory infections. Therefore, some patients often have recurring symptoms, and finally lead to chronic diseases. Although there will not be obvious symptoms after the onset of the disease, it is still worth paying attention to.

Reference: Normally there is no lymph node. Lymph nodes can be felt. Lymph nodes in the neck are the most common. The most common causes of swelling are pharyngitis, colds, tonsillitis, rhinitis, etc. Sometimes, scratching the scalp, dyeing hair, etc. can cause swelling of lymph nodes in the corresponding area.

When local inflammation is controlled, swollen lymph nodes will still exist for a period of time. If the diseases that cause swollen lymph nodes are completely cured and no longer occur, the lymph nodes will gradually subside. If there is repeated inflammation, the lymph nodes will exist permanently.

Because lymphoma sometimes becomes chronic and medication is not effective, some doctors, based on the location and texture of the lymphoma, will observe the patient as long as they determine that the lymphoma is not caused by a tumor. They do not use medication, hoping that the individual's own resistance will overcome the infection and the lymphoma will subside on its own.

Most people will recover from the above symptoms after they are cured, but some patients may develop chronic symptoms and never recover. As long as it does not grow larger or cause pain, it is not a big problem to let it exist. Be careful, as a few of them may be a reaction to tuberculosis or a metastatic lesion of a tumor.

If you are worried, you can do a puncture, which is just like an injection and will not be too painful. The results will be clearer after some testing. You can also have an outpatient surgery to remove the lesion and make a clear diagnosis. Generally speaking, if the lymph nodes are slightly enlarged, single or scattered, soft, non-tender, non-adhesive, and not accompanied by other symptoms, you do not need treatment for the time being, but you must closely observe the changes. If it does not increase in size or gradually decreases in size, you can continue to observe; if it increases in size or increases in number, you must see a doctor for diagnosis and treatment. If the swollen lymph nodes are large and numerous, especially in clusters, gradually or rapidly increasing in size, and adhered to surrounding tissues, and there are also swollen lymph nodes in other parts of the body (such as the armpits), accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, anemia, and weight loss, you should go to the hospital immediately for relevant examinations (even lymph node biopsy) to achieve timely diagnosis and treatment.
