How do lice grow

How do lice grow

Maybe in the past most people did not pay attention to their hygiene, which easily led to lice growing in places where hair grows. But even in modern times, when most people pay attention to their hygiene, a small number of people still have lice on their bodies. Lice not only make people's skin itchy, but are also contagious, and it is very difficult to kill them. So how do lice grow on the human body?

There are three types of lice:

One is body lice, which means the "body" of the body, and the second is head lice, which means our head. The third type is pubic lice. The individuals of these three types of lice are basically similar, and their shapes are basically similar. The only differences are their living environment, habits and lifespan.

There are two main types of diseases that lice can spread.

The first is epidemic typhoid fever, which is caused by Rickettsia prowazekii. Lice love to spread Rickettsia prowazekii. The main symptoms of this disease are high fever, headache, stomach cold, and exhaustion. Red, congested papules often appear four to six days after the onset of the disease. This disease, we know that typhoid fever is actually a very serious disease.

The second type of disease is relapsing fever, which is caused by a spirochete. Its main symptoms include chills, that is, frequent body chills, sometimes high fever, headache, and pain in the back and foot joints. There are symptoms of bleeding in the skin and mucous membranes, and the nose often bleeds.

First: To prevent and control lice, we must first maintain good cleanliness and hygiene, maintain our own cleanliness and hygiene, change clothes frequently, wash our hair frequently, and take a bath frequently. In addition, we must also maintain the hygiene of our home environment, so regularly wash our floors, carpets and clean various environments in our home.

Second: use high temperature to kill lice. So when lice are found, we can kill the adult lice, nymphs and eggs at 65 degrees in just 15 to 30 minutes, thus achieving the purpose of preventing and controlling lice.

Third: It is drug fumigation. We cannot use drug fumigation casually. We need to do it under the guidance of experts. Commonly used drugs are methyl formate and other drugs. This type of drug is relatively safe for humans and animals, but its dosage and period of use must be under the guidance of experts. In addition, there are traditional Chinese medicines. The stemonae in traditional Chinese medicine has a good insecticidal effect on lice. The stemonae infusion, which is soaked in alcohol, is often used to kill lice.
