What to do if there are mosquitoes in the air-conditioned room

When summer comes, the weather will become particularly hot and the temperature will rise day by day. When the outdoor temperature rises, the indoor temperature will also become unbearably hot, especially for people whose houses are on the sunny side, the room will be even hotter. Most homes have an air conditioner. When it is turned on, cold air will blow into the room, so the indoor temperature will drop rapidly and the person sitting inside will feel very cool. Let’s take a look at what to do if there are mosquitoes in an air-conditioned room.

Use mosquito coils to drive away mosquitoes first, then turn on the air conditioner!

If the environment does not allow fireworks, you can also use mosquito repellent in advance! It is better to use electric mosquito coils and place them at the air outlet of the air conditioner, so that everything will be fine.

Small-scale studies have shown that when the indoor temperature is below 24°C, mosquitoes' sense of smell will decrease by 60%. This means that setting the air conditioner temperature to 24 degrees Celsius can reduce the chance of being bitten to some extent. If the room temperature is always controlled at around 24 degrees Celsius, mosquitoes will have no food source or will always be hungry. They will not wait to starve to death in the house. In that way, there will be fewer and fewer mosquitoes.

Of course, it is not ruled out that the air conditioner temperature is set too low and you can't stand it, so you cover yourself with a thicker blanket so that mosquitoes can't bite you. From the subjective feeling, it feels like there are fewer mosquitoes.

You can use mosquito-killing lamps, which are green and environmentally friendly, have no smoke pollution, and are harmless to humans. The purple light of authentic mosquito-killing lamps uses the compound eyes of mosquitoes and some insects to attract them to the vicinity of the lamp, and then they are electrocuted to death by the electric grid. The mosquito killer lamp can also be used for general lighting at night, killing two birds with one stone. Fill an empty wine bottle with sugar water or beer and place it in a dark place. Mosquitoes will smell the sweetness and fly into the bottle, where they will be stuck by the beer or sugar water and die. Put the boiled vinegar in a dish and place it in the room without closing the door. You will not be disturbed by mosquitoes all night. Close the doors and windows, place a basin in front of the window, add water mixed with laundry detergent to the basin, and there will be dead mosquitoes in the basin the next day.
