The carotene contained in plant foods can be converted into vitamin A in the body, such as carrots, amaranth, spinach, leeks, green peppers, sweet potatoes, and fruits such as oranges, apricots, persimmons, etc.

2. Foods rich in vitamin B group:

A considerable amount of free vitamin B2 is stored in the retina of the eye. A deficiency of B vitamins can cause photophobia, tearing, burning pain and itching, visual fatigue, and eyelid spasms. Foods rich in B vitamins include whole grains, liver, yeast, yogurt, wheat germ, beans, milk (vitamin B2), and meat (vitamin B1, niacin acid).
