Steps to make bamboo tube rice dumplings

1Wash and soak glutinous rice and black fragrant rice for 3 to 4 hours.

2Cut the candied dates into small pieces and mix them with glutinous rice and black fragrant rice.

3Put the mixed rice into the bamboo tube and fill it up firmly.

4Insert a small thin bamboo stick and plug it with a wooden stopper.

5. Put the packed bamboo tubes into the steamer, cover the bamboo tubes with water and cook for about 2 hours.

6 Take out the cooked bamboo tube rice dumplings, put them in cold water to cool, take them out with a bamboo stick, sprinkle with sugar and they are ready to eat.

Tips:

When soaking rice, the water must cover the rice. It is better to soak it for a while longer.

Put the bamboo tube into boiling water and boil it for a while to clean and sterilize it.

1. Wash the glutinous rice, add water just enough to cover it, and soak it for more than 4 hours.

2 Drain the water, add all seasonings and various diced ingredients, mix well, and refrigerate overnight for better flavor.

3 Split the bamboo tube with a knife.

4 Each bamboo tube is different, so pay attention to the pairing and tie the lower end of each pair with cotton thread.

5 Use a small spoon to put the soaked ingredients into the bamboo tube, and tap the bamboo tube gently to make the rice grains firm until it is completely full.

6Wrap the opening of the bamboo tube with rice leaves and tie it tightly with cotton thread.

7Put the bamboo tube into a pressure cooker filled with water.

8 The pressure cooker will be ready 30 minutes after the pressure valve is turned on.

1. Soak glutinous rice overnight, drain and mix with your favorite ingredients into a bamboo tube, tap it a few times until the tube is evenly filled, and then close the lid.

2. Put the wrapped bamboo tube rice dumplings in the electric pressure cooker and cook for 30 minutes.
