Young people feel that there is no need to meditate because exercise is better than some exercises. In fact, each one has an effect on the body. When doing Hunyuan Lying, it is very important to pay attention to adopting the correct sitting posture and position. The Hunyuan relaxation method can be practiced while sitting, standing, or lying down. If we practice it as a sleeping exercise, it can be called the "Hunyuan Lying Exercise." If you practice qigong while going to sleep at night and then collect your breath when you wake up in the morning, it is equivalent to practicing qigong all night. If you wake up in the middle of the night and want to go to the bathroom, relax from head to toe before going; then relax again before you go to sleep. In this way, you can practice your exercises even when you sleep. The lying posture for Hunyuan Lying Exercise is the same as the Hunyuan Lying Posture. It doesn’t matter if your posture changes after falling asleep, you can just wake up and return to it. At the beginning, raise both hands from the navel to the top of the head. If you are willing to do it more times, you can also feel the changes in the Qi in your body. Then silently recite the sound of "xu", and feel as if you are listening to this sound inside your head. This will make it easier to calm down. When you give yourself instructions to relax from head to toe, follow your mind, but don't think too specifically. It should be vague and half-hearted. Gradually, I developed a habit and now I feel like I am half asleep when I sleep. In this sleeping state, the mind is clear and calm, but not empty, and the mind still has a little "spiritual awareness". When I woke up the next day, I felt like I hadn't slept all night, but I was in good spirits. People who have nocturnal emission will not easily have nocturnal emission if they sleep like this. Once they become sexually excited, they will immediately notice it and wake up. This is a simple and effective exercise method. However, you may not be used to it and may not be able to sleep at first. Just stick to it for a while. Practice method: 1. Posture requirements: Lie on your back with a comfortable pillow, soles of feet facing each other, knees apart, legs like a ring, hands overlapped on navel, quiet and relaxed. 2. Raise your overlapping hands along the midline of your body and place them on top of your head. 3. Silently chant the sound “xu” five to ten times to achieve a clear mind and a calm spirit. 4. Imagine: relaxing the forehead (fontanelle), relaxing the scalp (the scalp can be moved gently), relaxing the forehead (extending the eyebrows outward), relaxing the eyes, nose, and mouth (tongue against the front teeth); relaxing the face, ears, neck, chest and back, lungs, cardiovascular system, diaphragm, stomach, pancreas, liver and gallbladder, spleen, kidneys, small intestine, large intestine, bladder, and reproductive organs; contracting the perineum, gently lifting it up, and closing the bottom of the sea; relaxing the upper limbs, palms, lower limbs, and soles of the feet; relaxing all the joints in the body, and opening and relaxing the pores in the body. The whole body is warm and connected, inside and outside, the qi flows to the mind, and the whole body is relaxed. Repeat this process to relax. 5. Often you fall asleep without realizing it during the process of thinking, so you should just let nature take its course. When you wake up in the morning, add the intention of "ending the exercise" and nourish your energy a little. |
