What are the dangers of frequent premature beats

Premature beats are a relatively common disease at present. Premature beats can cause tachycardia and atrial fibrillation in many patients, and may even cause a series of unnecessary complications. Frequent premature beats can cause great harm to the body, so everyone needs to pay attention to some precautions during the recovery period of premature beats. In addition, we must also choose some appropriate and effective plans for active treatment so that recovery can be faster.

complication

This disease can induce ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, and in severe cases can even lead to sudden cardiac death.

1 Ventricular tachycardia

Ventricular tachycardia refers to a tachycardia consisting of 3-5 or more wide and deformed QRS waves originating below the bifurcation of the His bundle. It is similar to paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia in form, but the symptoms are more severe. Children are irritable, pale, and short of breath. Older children may complain of palpitations and precordial pain. Severe cases may experience syncope, shock, congestive heart failure, etc. The hemodynamic changes are mild in those with short attacks, but significant hemodynamic changes may occur in those with attacks lasting more than 24 hours. Physical examination reveals an increased heart rate, often above 150 beats/min, with a regular rhythm and heart sounds of varying strengths.

2Ventricular fibrillation (VF)

It is caused by many intersecting reentrant electrical activity waves, and its electrocardiogram shows a chaotic recording curve. VF can often be fatal unless defibrillated with direct current (which is difficult to achieve with chest blows or antiarrhythmic drugs).

3. Sudden Cardiac Death

Sudden death is a clinical syndrome, which refers to the sudden and unexpected non-human death of a person who usually appears to be healthy or whose condition has basically recovered or stabilized. Most of the deaths occur within immediately to one hour after the onset of the acute disease, and the longest does not exceed 6 hours. It is mainly due to the sudden cessation of effective contraction function of the heart due to primary ventricular fibrillation, ventricular arrest or electromechanical separation.
