How to use Baibu Chinese medicine to remove lice

Use 30 grams of Stemona bulbus and 400 milliliters of water, boil for half an hour, filter and use. Wrap the neck with a towel, let the hair lower its head, and place a washbasin underneath. Pour the medicine on the head with one hand, and rub the hair with the other hand to wet it. Sprinkle the medicine in the washbasin back on the hair. After washing it repeatedly, wrap the hair with a towel or shower cap, open it after 10 hours, and then apply gauze dipped in vinegar all over the hair. Comb the hair carefully, and do not wash your hair with shampoo until lice are found. If there are still live lice, repeat the medicine several times to kill them.

Ways to eliminate lice include:

1. To eliminate lice in underwear and sheets: you can put these items in water and boil them for about 10 minutes. If the clothes (such as woolen clothes) are not resistant to moisture and heat, you can also dry clean them.

2. Eliminate lice in the hair: Shave off all the hair that has lice, and then thoroughly wash the skin to completely remove the lice. When using drugs to kill lice in the hair, you should choose highly effective, low-toxic drugs. You can make a lice-killing solution with 1 gram of permethrin, 10 milliliters of ethanol (alcohol), and 90 milliliters of neutral shampoo. When there are lice on the hair, dilute the liquid medicine 100 times with water, take 30-50 ml of the diluted liquid to soak the hair, and wash the hair with clean water after half an hour. Do this for 3 consecutive days. You can also wash your hair with 10% Stemona bulb decoction first, then wrap your hair with a towel soaked in the medicine overnight, and wash your hair with clean water the next morning. You can also wet your hair with 25% ethanol (alcohol) solution every week, and it will be effective after wiping it twice. Vinegar can dissolve the mucus on lice eggs. If there are still lice eggs on the hair, you can apply 20-40 ml of vinegar to your hair. Comb your hair with a comb the next day to comb out the lice eggs, and then wash your hair with clean water. If there are pubic lice on the pubic hair, you can apply 25% ethanol (alcohol) solution on it, or you can mix 10% acetic acid solution with an equal amount of kerosene and apply it.

3. To eliminate lice on clothes, bedding, straw mats and straw cushions: add 4 ml of 50% DDT emulsion to 500 ml of water, and then spray them on the clothes. You can also use a brush dipped in 4 ml of 50% DDT emulsion to draw vertical and horizontal lines on the clothes and bedding infested with lice, with a distance of 10 cm (3 inches) between the lines. Then roll up or fold the clothes and bedding and leave them for 2 hours to kill the lice inside.
