In real life, pimples on the skin on both sides of the neck is a common symptom for many people. There are many reasons for pimples on both sides of the neck. Generally, it is a symptom caused by enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. Staying up late for a long time or improper diet will easily lead to pimples on both sides of the neck, which should be treated in time. What is the reason for the pimples on both sides of the neck? The cause of this condition is considered to be inflammatory infection or allergy. The preliminary diagnosis is cervical lymphadenitis. In this case, medication treatment and observation are required. Cervical lymphadenitis Clinical manifestations Judging from the clinical manifestations, patients with lymph node metastasis are the oldest, with no gender difference, longer disease course, and larger lymph nodes. Lymphatic tuberculosis is more common in women and has a long course of disease. Patients with lymphadenitis are mostly younger, have a shorter average disease course, and have smaller lymph nodes. Malignant lymphoma occurs more often in men than in women, with obvious enlarged lymph nodes and often accompanied by fever. Reactive lymph node hyperplasia is multi-site, often with fever, and the average course of the disease is short. Histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis (Kikuchi disease) occurs at a young age and is accompanied by high fever and obvious swelling and pain in the lymph nodes. The 80% rule for diagnosing neck masses can be used as a reference for diagnostic analysis: 20% of non-thyroid tumors in the neck are inflammation, deformity or other non-tumor diseases; 20% of malignant tumors are primary tumors in the neck, and 80% are metastatic tumors; 20% of metastatic tumors originate from the chest and abdominal organs, and 80% originate from malignant tumors of the head and neck. Among metastatic malignant tumors, 20% have unknown primary sites, while 80% can find the primary site. Complete treatment Based on the location of the swollen lymph nodes, we can generally understand the primary lesion that caused the swollen lymph nodes. However, if necessary, special examinations and treatments such as X-rays, pathological section microscopy, B-ultrasound and immunohistochemistry should be carried out. Western medicine cannot completely cure the disease fundamentally. Causes Sometimes esophageal, chest, and even gastrointestinal cancers also metastasize here. Generally, the nature and cause of the swollen cervical lymph nodes can be identified and the possible primary lesions can be explored based on their location, size, texture, mobility, and the presence or absence of tenderness. Inflammation Acute cases are characterized by redness, pain, and heat, with rapid onset and local tenderness. The swelling will subside after anti-inflammatory treatment. Chronic cases have a long course, are active, have no tenderness, and are often located in the submandibular area |
