Can physiological floaters be cured?

Physiological floaters are also a common phenomenon. Patients will experience flies or small black spots flashing in front of their eyes. Generally speaking, non-physiological floaters are benign, but if they have seriously affected life and work, then you should also pay attention to receiving the correct treatment method.

1. First of all: floaters often occur in middle-aged and elderly people over 40 years old, patients with high myopia, and those who have undergone cataract surgery. Other patients such as those with intraocular inflammation or retinal vascular disease may also develop this disease.

2. Secondly: Although patients with physiological floaters report that there are black shadows floating in front of their eyes, clinical examinations have shown no lesions in the lens, vitreous body, and retina. This type of physiological floaters does not require treatment.

3. Finally: In life, floaters that people suffer from are generally benign, and most of them are physiological floaters. Their characteristics are: if the patient has floaters in both eyes, it is impossible to determine which eye has floaters. If these phenomena do not worsen or change over a period of time, and the position of the floaters is fixed, they are mostly benign.

4. Notes

After understanding whether physiological floaters can be cured, patients should also pay attention to proper rest in normal times.
