What is hemorrhagic fever? You should know these things

Hemorrhagic fever is relatively unfamiliar to many people. Not only have they never heard of it, they also don’t know what kind of disease it is. Hemorrhagic fever is actually a common clinical disease. This disease is caused by viral infection and is a contagious disease.

1. Hemorrhagic fever is a disease caused by the hemorrhagic fever virus, which is mainly transmitted by rodents. Typical symptoms include fever, bleeding, headache, back pain, orbital pain, and kidney damage. The disease is mainly treated with comprehensive therapy. Antiviral treatment is used in the early stage, and symptomatic treatment is carried out in the middle and late stages according to pathological physiology. "Three early and one local" is still the treatment principle of this disease, that is, early detection, early rest, early treatment and local treatment. During treatment, attention should be paid to the prevention and treatment of shock, renal failure and bleeding. Food should also be determined according to the function of the kidneys. A light diet is the main method, and sufficient fluid and electrolytes are supplemented. Fluid replacement should be mainly isotonic and saline. Commonly used are balanced saline and glucose saline.

2. Hemorrhagic fever, also known as epidemic hemorrhagic fever, is an important infectious disease that endangers human health. It is caused by the epidemic hemorrhagic fever virus (hantavirus) and is a natural epidemic disease with rodents as the main source of infection. The main clinical manifestations are fever, bleeding, congestion, hypotension shock and kidney damage.

3. During the fever period of hemorrhagic fever, physical cooling or adrenal cortical hormones can be used. When hypotensive shock occurs, blood volume should be replenished. Commonly used ones include low molecular weight dextran, balanced salt solution and glucose saline, plasma, protein, etc. If there is oliguria, diuretics (such as furosemide, etc.) can be injected intravenously. In case of polyuria, adequate fluid and electrolytes (potassium salt) should be supplemented, mainly orally. After entering the recovery period, pay attention to preventing complications, strengthen nutrition, and gradually resume activities.
