How to use soapberry peel

1. 2. Make your own liquid soap: Use a thick-bottomed stainless steel pot with a lid, add 1000 ml of water, plus 10 soapberry peels, which can be put in a bag, cover, bring the water to a boil, then turn off the heat and leave it for a few hours or overnight. After soaking for a while, when the water temperature is not too high (if it is the next day, it needs to be slightly heated up), use your hands to squeeze out the saponin in the soapberry peel as much as possible. You will find that there is a lot of foam. Continue until the peel is squeezed as dry as possible. At this time, you can throw away the peel. If you have the conditions to make your own fertilizer, you can add it in. In this way, the soapberry will return to nature after doing its best to clean us! Then put the liquid soap into a box or bottle with a lid and store it in a dark and low temperature place, in the refrigerator in summer. This one litre of soap is enough to wash 5-10 loads of clothes (5kg washing machine), depending on the performance of the washing machine. The amount you make each time can be adjusted according to the ratio, and whether to use more or less depends on your own feeling of washing clothes. After using it for a period of time, you will be able to master the dosage.

You can also use soapberry peel to clean clothes in the washing machine. However, it should be noted that if you use soapberry peel to clean white clothes for a long time, you will find that the clothes will gradually turn gray. However, you can choose some bleach to help. At the same time, the cleansing property of soapberry peel can also be used for hand washing. It is also a good choice to use it as hand soap.
