How to wash markers from clothes

Generally speaking, if you accidentally scratch your clothes with a marker, how do you clean it? First, you need to look at the type of marker. If it is a water-based marker, you can usually just use it and add a little laundry detergent to wash it clean quickly. However, if it is an oil-based marker, you will need to use some tricks to wash it clean. You can prepare some milk and marshmallows, boil the milk first, then dip the marshmallows in hot milk and rub the stained areas on the clothes. Remember to put a towel under the clothes.

First, pour alcohol on the scratches made by the fountain pen on the clothes. Each scratch should be evenly covered with alcohol. The alcohol should have a concentration of not less than 75% medical alcohol. Place the clothes with the alcohol poured on it facing up, and try not to let it touch other sides of the clothes, otherwise the color of the pen or ballpoint pen mark may stain other parts of the clothes. Use an ordinary washbasin and prepare half a basin of water. Then pour two full bottle caps of bleach into the clean water. Make sure it is two full bottle caps. Stir it at the same time, and then add a little detergent. You can decide the amount yourself. Then stir it slightly to allow the detergent to fully dissolve in the water. Okay, now soak the clothes completely in water for twenty minutes. When the time comes, wash the clothes and there will be no marks at all!

If it is a ballpoint pen mark and the mark is heavy, if there are still traces after using the above method, finally rub it gently with toothpaste and soap, and then rinse it with clean water. (But it is strictly forbidden to use boiling water!)

Another method is to find some gasoline, use it to wash the stained area first, and then use cleaning liquid to wash the clothes. This is also a small method that can help clean the marker. Or another method is to use a concentration of at least 90% to clean the stained areas, which is also very effective.
