How to wash clothes with oil stains

We often encounter oil stains in our daily life. For example, female friends who are busy in the kitchen, or children who are practicing to eat by themselves may accidentally get oil stains on their clothes. The most difficult problem to solve when clothes are stained with oil is how to clean the oil stains thoroughly. Can the soap or laundry detergent we usually use for washing clothes clean the oil stains?

1. Apply alcohol or salt solution to the oily area to remove the oil.

2. Or squeeze some toothpaste and apply it on the stain, rub it gently a few times, and then scrub it with clean water, and the oil stain can be removed.

3. When clothes are stained with oil, don't rush to rinse them with clean water. First apply detergent to the oil stains on the clothes, let the detergent stay on the clothes for about 20 minutes, then rub them gently with your hands, and finally, rinse with clean water to thoroughly wash off the oil stains.

4. If cooked oil stains your clothes, soak them in warm salt water, then rub them with soap and rinse them to remove the stains.

5. If there are oil stains on silk clothes, you can mix talcum powder into a paste and apply it to the oil stain. After leaving it for a while, peel off the talcum powder, then put thin paper on the silk, and iron it flat with an electric iron at low temperature.

6. If there are oil stains on the leather jacket, you can apply a paste made of alcohol and chalk powder on the oil stains on the leather jacket. After the paste dries, carefully wipe it off.

Through understanding, we found that if we simply follow the previous method of washing clothes, we cannot completely clean the oil stains. Therefore, if our clothes are stained with oil in life, we can refer to the few small methods introduced above. However, it is best to wear rubber gloves when washing clothes to protect the skin of our hands.
