How to remove oil stains from clothes

Accidentally getting oil stains on clothes is one of the most common phenomena we encounter. So what should we do when facing such a problem? How to clean the oil stains on clothes is what we are most concerned about. Let us learn together what specific methods are there in life to help us solve such problems. When facing oil stains, we must first deal with them in a timely manner.

Method: 1. If it is a small amount of oil stain, you can first apply enzyme laundry detergent on both sides of the stain.

2. Put the clothes into the washing machine, add enzyme detergent, and wash at the highest water temperature that the clothes can withstand.

3. Use kitchen paper or absorbent white cloth to remove any remaining grease on clothes as soon as possible.

4. Apply some baking soda on the stain and gently rub the powder with a cloth, working it into the fibers of the clothing.

5. Let it sit for 30 minutes until the powder absorbs the oil, then wipe off the powder with a dry cloth. This method works equally well for washable and non-washable fabrics.

6. Take a piece of carrot and wipe the oily area directly, then wash it with hot water.

Tips: 1. Pre-treat with a strong detergent and then wash normally; if allowed, you can also use bleach for stubborn stains.

2. Butter is a viscous animal fat and can be scrubbed with toluene or carbon tetrachloride solvent. The traces left can be removed with a mixture of alcohol and ammonia water, or with alcohol soap.

3. Stains on white clothes can be removed by mixing 4 parts of 10% ammonia water, 1 part of soda (sodium carbonate), 2 parts of high-quality white soap, 4 parts of alcohol and 100 parts of water. Use a cloth dipped in the mixture to wet the stain, wipe until the stain is removed, and then rinse with clean water.

When facing stains on clothes, we must first pay attention to the washing method, because different clothing materials have different washing methods. In addition, pure white clothes are generally easier to wash, but they cannot be directly washed with chemical detergents. In particular, if they are baby clothes or close-fitting clothes, you must avoid irritating detergents when washing them.
