What is wrong with blue veins in the body?

The structure of the human body is very complex. It includes various organs and fine and dense blood vessels. The blood vessels are divided into two categories: arteries and veins. The green blood vessels visible to the naked eye are veins. We usually simply call them blue veins. Some people have more or less blue veins on the back of their hands, calves, or even other parts of their bodies compared to others. What does this mean? What are blue veins?

Blue veins, or veins, are blood vessels that carry blood back to the heart through the body. When venous blood return is obstructed and pressure increases, blue veins often appear on the human body surface as bulges, varicose veins, twists, and discolorations.

Why is blood return obstructed? In fact, it is caused by stagnation in the body. If various physiological wastes such as blood stasis, phlegm, heat, toxicity, and stagnation cannot be eliminated from the body, it will cause disorders in all systems of the body. At this time, the blue veins on the face, abdomen, feet, especially on the palms and backs of the hands will be very obvious. Therefore, blue veins represent stagnation in the human body.

The blue veins we often talk about are small blood vessels called veins. In general, the fewer blue veins on your hands, the healthier you are.

If you can see several blue veins on your fingers and palms, it means you have chronic constipation. Some people have irregular bowel movements for many years, defecation only once every few days, but their stools are not dry and defecation is not difficult; some people are constipated for many years and defecation is difficult. These will cause toxins in the intestines to not be excreted in time, affecting the digestion and absorption functions.

Blue veins on the side of the thumb indicate insufficient blood supply to the head, resulting in frequent headaches and dizziness.

Blue veins at the base of the thumb indicate hardening of the heart arteries. The thicker the blue veins, the longer and more serious the disease course, and the patient will often feel discomfort in the precordial area; thinner and shallower the blue veins, the shorter the illness duration. Most patients usually do not have obvious discomfort in the heart, but will feel some chest tightness when they are tired or in a bad mood, which will improve after rest.

If there are blue veins on the outer side of the thenar eminence, it means that the heartbeat is irregular, the heart beats at different speeds, and sometimes there may be premature beats, palpitations, and heart palpitations.

The presence of blue veins at the bottom of the thenar eminence indicates that there is a lot of cold and dampness in the body, which has affected the heart and joints, and is also accompanied by symptoms of back pain and joint pain.

Blue veins at the base of the middle finger indicate cerebral arteriosclerosis. If it only appears on the left side (the side close to the thumb is the left), it means that the left cerebral artery sclerosis and meridian blockage are more serious, and discomfort on the left side of the head is prone to occur; if it appears on the right side, it means that the right cerebral artery sclerosis and meridian blockage are more serious, and head discomfort is prone to occur on the right side of the head; if there are blue veins on both sides and the color is darker, it means that the arteriosclerosis in the brain is already very obvious. The appearance of blue veins on the outside of the little finger indicates congenital kidney deficiency. When they are young, they are prone to bedwetting, and when they grow up, they will also have kidney problems, and their waist and legs will feel weak and sore. Similarly, the longer and deeper the blue veins are, the more serious the condition is. The area below the middle finger and above the palm is the neck. If blue veins appear, it means there is a problem with the thyroid gland, or there is chronic pharyngitis, and what Chinese medicine calls "plum pit qi", which is a sign of blocked neck meridians. The appearance of blue veins on the thenar eminence and inside the lifeline indicates an allergic constitution, which is prone to drug and food allergies, and to skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis.

We can get so much information from the distribution of blue veins. We can get some relevant information about ourselves from each part, which allows us to understand our physical health in advance and know in advance which body part has problems, so that we can take preventive measures in advance and go to the hospital for a comprehensive physical examination when necessary.
