Healthy dinner abides by the "four no" policy

There seems to be less mention of how to eat more healthily when it comes to dinner. People are often told to eat less at dinner, but many people pay more attention to dinner than lunch and eat better. In fact, it is time to rest soon after dinner, which affects digestion issues, so how to eat needs more attention.

Dinner is not too full

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "if the stomach is not in harmony, you will not sleep well." If you drink too much at dinner, it will inevitably increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract. The information about its intense work will be continuously transmitted to the brain, causing insomnia and nightmares. Over time, it can easily cause diseases such as neurasthenia.

If middle-aged people eat too much at dinner for a long time, it will repeatedly stimulate the secretion of large amounts of insulin, which will often increase the burden on insulin β cells and lead to their failure, inducing diabetes. At the same time, if you eat too much at dinner, some of the protein will not be digested and absorbed. Under the action of intestinal bacteria, toxic substances will be produced. In addition, intestinal peristalsis slows down during sleep, which relatively prolongs the residence time of these substances in the intestine, and may promote the occurrence of colorectal cancer.

Dinner is not too sweet

It is not advisable to eat sweets frequently during dinner or after dinner. This is because the sugar metabolism activity of the liver, adipose tissue and muscles changes differently at different stages of the 24 hours. In principle, the activity of material metabolism changes with the intensity of sunlight; the physical body is strongly affected by the state of rest or activity.

White sugar is broken down into fructose and glucose after digestion, and converted into energy and fat respectively after being absorbed by the human body. Since exercise can inhibit the secretion of insulin, it also has an inhibitory effect on the conversion of white sugar into fat. Therefore, exercising immediately after taking white sugar can inhibit the increase in neutral fat concentration in the blood. However, if you rest immediately after taking sugar, the result will be the opposite and will make you fat over time.

Dinner is not too late

It is not advisable to eat dinner too late, otherwise you are prone to urethral stones. Many people have dinner very late due to work and go to bed shortly after dinner. When sleeping, blood flow slows down and urine excretion also decreases. In addition to being absorbed by the body, the remaining calcium salt in the diet must be excreted through the urethra.

According to measurements, the human body's peak urination is generally 4 to 5 hours after eating. If dinner is too late, such as eating at eight or nine o'clock in the evening, the peak urination will be after midnight, when people are sleeping soundly. High concentrations of calcium salts and urine are retained in the urethra and combine with uric acid to form calcium oxalate. When its concentration is high, it can precipitate crystals at normal body temperature and precipitate, accumulate and form stones. Therefore, in addition to drinking more water, you should have dinner as early as possible to advance the peak of excretion after eating. It is best to urinate once before going to bed.

Dinner is not meat

Medical research has found that people who often eat meat for dinner have three or four times higher blood lipids than those who often eat vegetarian food.

For people who suffer from high blood lipids and high blood pressure, if they often eat meat for dinner, it is like adding fuel to the fire. Regularly consuming too many calories at dinner can easily cause increased cholesterol. Excessive cholesterol accumulates on the blood vessel walls, which will induce arteriosclerosis and coronary heart disease over time.
