Disadvantages: 1. Expensive. 2. There is still a big gap between the currently generally achievable light efficiency and the theoretical light efficiency. 3. There is still a big gap between the current lifespan and the theoretical lifespan (100,000 hours). 4. There is still a certain amount of heat generated. 5. The light decay can be greatly reduced.

However, these shortcomings can be overcome through process improvements. Therefore, even though LED light sources cannot completely replace existing traditional light sources at present, with the development of technology, LED will definitely dominate the world in the future.
