How to treat immature ovarian teratoma

Ovarian immature teratoma is a malignant tumor disease that mainly originates from primordial germ cells. The cause of this disease is more complicated. Once the disease occurs, it is easy to cause abdominal mass, abdominal pain and other discomforts. Severe symptoms will also cause abdominal effusion. The treatment of ovarian immature teratoma should be actively carried out, and the following methods should be selected for treatment according to the patient's condition.

1. Drug treatment:

Some patients with immature ovarian teratoma should be treated with chemotherapy, but for some patients with immature ovarian teratoma, chemotherapy should be used. Patients with IG1 or above should receive chemotherapy, generally using the BEP regimen. Commonly used drugs include poliposide plus cisplatin, bleomycin, etc. Drug treatment can control the development and spread of tumors.

2. Surgical treatment:

For young patients with immature ovarian teratoma, unilateral adnexectomy can be selected according to physical condition. However, in order to reduce the recurrence and metastasis of the disease, you can consult a doctor to choose tumor cell resection for treatment. Active surgery can achieve ideal treatment results.

3. Other treatments:

Patients with immature ovarian teratoma who have severe complications, such as anemia, should be given blood transfusions, but patients with severe infection symptoms should be considered for anti-infection treatment.

4. Nursing treatment:

Patients with immature ovarian teratoma should maintain a good lifestyle and eat a balanced diet during the onset of the disease. Once negative emotions such as anxiety or depression occur, family members should provide psychological comfort and strengthen psychological counseling when necessary. During the recovery process, pay attention to personal hygiene, change underwear frequently, avoid abnormal residue of vaginal secretions on underwear, and reduce the incidence of infection.
