What are the early symptoms of cervical lymphoma?

Lymph is found throughout the body, and when it turns into lymphoma, the symptoms vary depending on the site. So, what are the early symptoms of cervical lymphoma? What are they?

The malignant transformation of lymphocytes is called lymphoma. According to the "World Health Organization Pathological Classification of Tumors of the Lymphatic System", there are nearly 70 known pathological types of lymphoma, which can be divided into Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

The early symptoms of cervical lymphoma mainly include the following symptoms.

1. Lymph node enlargement: Lymph node enlargement: including superficial and deep lymph nodes, which are characterized by progressive, painless, hard, and can be promoted. In the early stage, it does not adhere, and in the late stage, it can fuse. Anti-inflammatory and tuberculosis treatment is ineffective. Superficial lymph nodes are commonly found in the neck, followed by the axilla and the abdominal groove. The deep ones are mainly in the mediastinum and the abdominal aorta.

2. Local compression symptoms caused by swollen lymph nodes: mainly refers to deep lymph nodes, such as enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes, which compress the superior vena cava and cause superior vena cava syndrome; compression of the trachea causes coughing, chest tightness, dyspnea and cyanosis; compression of the esophagus can cause dysphagia.

3. Fever and weight loss: Most patients lose weight, with a weight loss of more than 10% within 6 months. Night sweats: Sweating at night or after sleeping.

4. Extranodal lesions of cervical lymphoma. Lymphoma can invade various tissues and organs throughout the body. For example, infiltration of the liver and spleen can cause liver swelling, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, intestinal obstruction, bleeding, cough, pleural effusion, bone pain, pathological fractures, skin itching, subcutaneous nodules, tonsils, dysphagia in the mouth, nose, and pharynx, nasal congestion, nasal knots, spinal cord compression, cranial nerve lesions, etc.
