2. Lung cancer is a common primary lung malignancy that originates from the bronchial mucosa or glands. The cause of lung cancer is still unclear, mainly including smoking, occupational exposure, air pollution, ionizing radiation, diet and physical activity, genetics, etc.

3. If you are a healthy person and have no clinical symptoms, you can have regular CT scans. Lung cancer found by imaging may be early stage lung cancer. However, if you have obvious clinical symptoms, such as repeated irritating cough, chest tightness and shortness of breath, bloody sputum, chest pain, etc., then if you have a chest CT scan, the lung cancer found by imaging may be mid- to late-stage lung cancer.

4. People who smoke for a long time, are often exposed to chemical carcinogens, or have a family history of lung cancer are advised to have regular chest CT scans to help detect early lung cancer. Early lung cancer can be surgically removed and survive for a long time in the future.
