How to eat correctly to avoid cancer? Check out the factors that easily lead to liver cancer

Recently, a study by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) showed that safrole can cause liver cancer. Adding 0.04% to 1% safrole to the feed of mice for 150 days to 2 years can induce liver cancer in mice. Ginger, which is common on the tables of ordinary people, contains safrole. Excessive consumption of ginger can easily increase the risk of liver cancer. In addition, studies have shown that rotten ginger produces toxins, which can also cause cancer if consumed. Which foods in daily life are likely to cause liver cancer, and how can we eat them correctly to avoid cancer?

Factors that may lead to liver cancer:

1. Alcohol:

Drinking can lead to a variety of chronic liver diseases such as alcoholic fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis, alcoholic cirrhosis, and can enhance the effects of HBV, AFT and other factors in inducing primary liver cancer, but the cancer-promoting mechanism has not yet been clarified.

2. Trace elements:

At present, the research on the relationship between trace elements and liver cancer has found that the mortality rate of liver cancer is negatively correlated with the selenium content in the environment and the selenium level in the blood of residents. The investigation found that the water, soil, food, human hair and blood in liver cancer-endemic areas contain high levels of copper and zinc, but low levels of molybdenum.

3. Aflatoxin:

Aflatoxin B1 is the strongest carcinogen for animal liver cancer. Surveys in areas with a high incidence of liver cancer, especially in the south where corn is the staple food, suggest that the occurrence of liver cancer may be related to the contamination of grain by aflatoxin. The level of aflatoxin M1, the metabolite of aflatoxin B1, in human urine is very high, but there is currently no direct evidence to confirm this.

4. Liver cirrhosis:

At present, cirrhosis has been clinically identified as a precancerous lesion of liver cancer. It is the main cause of primary liver cancer. When cirrhosis occurs, the conversion rate of liver cells becomes faster and they are more sensitive to carcinogenic factors in the environment.

5. Viral hepatitis:

The positive rate of serum hepatitis B markers in patients with primary liver cancer is as high as 90%. It can be seen that there is a correlation between the incidence of primary liver cancer and the prevalence of HBV carrier status. Moreover, animal experiments and human studies have supported the direct carcinogenic effect of HBV, so it is almost certain that HBV is an initiating factor and the main cause of primary liver cancer.

6. Heredity:

In areas with a high incidence of liver cancer, it has been found that liver cancer has a significant familial clustering, especially among people who live together and have blood ties. Relevant experts believe that this may be related to the vertical transmission of the hepatitis virus, but this has yet to be confirmed.

7. Others:

The causes of primary liver cancer are also related to many factors such as water pollution, genetic factors, trace elements, sex hormones, nitrosamines and pesticide pollution.

To prevent the occurrence of liver cancer, you should keep a cheerful mood and avoid the influence of bad emotions. In addition, maintain good eating and rest habits.

Liver cancer has long been known as the "king of cancers" because of its high malignancy, rapid progression, difficulty in treatment, and high mortality rate. Therefore, how to prevent liver cancer in daily life is very helpful in reducing the mortality rate of liver cancer.

Actively prevent cancer king daily diet is the key

1. Actively prevent and treat hepatitis B and inject hepatitis B vaccine

The relationship between hepatitis B and liver cancer has been mentioned many times before on this website, so I will not repeat it here. According to experts from the Tumor Biological Treatment Center of Chongqing Xinqiao Hospital, people who carry the hepatitis B virus for a long time have a high chance of developing cancer. Therefore, we should actively prevent and treat hepatitis B in our daily lives and get vaccinated against hepatitis B. Many experts point out that using hepatitis B vaccines to prevent hepatitis and thus prevent liver cancer has become one of the most promising ways to prevent liver cancer. Not only should children be vaccinated against hepatitis B when they are born, but adults who have not been vaccinated against hepatitis B and have not had hepatitis should also be vaccinated against hepatitis B. This can block some hepatitis from developing into liver cancer.

2. Quit smoking and drinking

Cigarette smoke will plant the seeds of cancer wherever it passes through the human body (such as the mouth, throat, esophagus, etc.). Not only that, it will also increase the risk of stomach cancer, liver cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, uterine cancer and breast cancer.

Alcohol in the human body needs to be detoxified by the liver, the largest chemical factory in the human body. The acetaldehyde produced in this metabolic process is extremely toxic to the human body and can cause cell damage, fat deposition in liver cells, inflammation and necrosis of liver cells, and hyperplasia of fibrous connective tissue, which can eventually lead to cirrhosis of the liver. Some cirrhosis of the liver will turn into liver cancer. Therefore, experts recommend that friends quit smoking and drinking as much as possible to prevent the occurrence and development of liver cancer.

3. Regular physical examination

Patients with chronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C are 10-3 times more likely to develop liver cancer than normal people. If hepatitis is cured, but the damage to the liver caused by the hepatitis virus has not disappeared, that is, the basis for cancer still exists, so regular examinations should be conducted for people at high risk of liver cancer. For those who are over 35 years old, have chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis for more than 5 years, and have a family history of liver cancer in three generations of their direct relatives, it is best to go to the hospital for a check-up every six months to eliminate hidden dangers as soon as possible and detect liver cancer at an early stage.

4. Stay away from carcinogens

In daily life, avoid eating moldy, mushy and barbecued foods, because these foods contain aflatoxin, which is a carcinogen. You can eat more garlic, because garlic contains alliinase, which has anti-cancer effects. In addition, you can eat one orange every day, because the vitamin C in oranges helps kill Helicobacter pylori, which causes gastric cancer.

5. Exercise

The occurrence of liver cancer is also related to the patient's immunity. Under normal circumstances, cells in the human body may form cancer cells, but the human immune system has the immune ability to inhibit and eliminate these cancer cells, so cancer will not occur. When the human body's immunity weakens, it is easy to develop cancer. Therefore, in daily life, active exercise and moderate exercise can enhance physical fitness and improve human immunity, which can play a good role in preventing liver cancer. At the same time, for early liver cancer, we can also use biological immunotherapy to improve the patient's immune function, strengthen the patient's immunity, increase the cure rate of early liver cancer, and promote physical recovery.
