Extraperiosteal osteosarcoma is a rare malignant tumor originating from the periosteum. Extraperiosteal osteosarcoma is a rare surface osteosarcoma, accounting for no more than 2% of all osteosarcomas. It can occur at any age, but the peak age is 15 to 20 years old. Clinically, extraperiosteal osteosarcoma is mainly manifested by local pain, swelling or lumps, with mild symptoms and slow progression.

1. Diet for osteosarcoma bone pain: It is suitable to eat tortoise shell, turtle meat, pangolin, oyster, crab, shrimp and walnut.

2. Diet for osteosarcoma and anemia: Pork liver, shiitake mushrooms, sesame seeds, royal jelly, yellow croaker, peanuts, sea cucumbers, grass carp, and abalone are recommended.

3. Diet for osteosarcoma and spleen enlargement: It is suitable to eat soft-shelled turtle, loach, conger eel, hairy clam, kelp and wakame.

4. Osteosarcoma diet: During chemotherapy, it is advisable to eat soft-shelled turtles and eels. They can replenish white blood cells. Chemotherapy requires sufficient white blood cells. If not, chemotherapy cannot be performed. Cordyceps sinensis can reduce the side effects of chemotherapy.

5. For osteosarcoma, it is advisable to eat more foods that have anti-bone marrow disease and osteosarcoma effects, such as kelp, seaweed, mussels, clams, wakame, almonds, peach kernels, and plums.

2. Foods to avoid in osteosarcoma diet

1. Patients with osteosarcoma should avoid smoking, drinking, and spicy food.

2. Patients with osteosarcoma should avoid moldy, pickled, fried, and greasy foods.

3. People with osteosarcoma should avoid eating irritating foods such as chicken, mutton, goose meat, and pork head.
