Diagnosis of Endometrial Cancer

Diagnosis of Endometrial Cancer

What are the diagnoses for endometrial cancer? According to experienced oncologists, there are many early symptoms of endometrial cancer. At the same time, the symptoms vary with the severity of the disease. At the same time, the physical constitutions of endometrial cancer patients are different, which will result in different manifestations of endometrial cancer.

The diagnosis of endometrial cancer requires attention to the following methods:

1. Gynecological examination: In the early stage, patients have no obvious abnormalities during gynecological examination. As the disease progresses, pelvic examination reveals that the uterus is larger than it should be for its age and is slightly soft. In late stage cases, signs corresponding to the course of the disease appear.

2. Segmented diagnostic curettage This is the most commonly used method for scraping endometrial tissue for early diagnosis of endometrial cancer. Usually, it is required to first perform a circular curettage of the cervical canal, then explore the uterine cavity, and then perform intrauterine scraping of the endometrium. The specimens are divided into bottles, marked, and sent for pathological examination. The results of the pathological examination are the basis for confirming the diagnosis of endometrial cancer.

3. Cytological examination uses a special uterine cavity suction tube or uterine cavity brush to be placed into the uterine cavity to absorb the secretions for cytological examination for screening examination.

4. Hysteroscopy can directly observe the growth of endometrial lesions and take biopsies of suspicious lesions under direct vision for pathological examination.

5. B-ultrasound examination: Typical sonographic images of endometrial cancer show an enlarged uterus or one larger than the menopausal age, with uneven echo areas in the uterine cavity, irregular shapes, and disappearance of the uterine cavity line. Sometimes, irregular echo disorder areas are seen in the myometrium, with unclear boundaries, which can indicate the degree of myometrial invasion.

Through the above statements about endometrial cancer, we have learned about endometrial cancer, which provides us with more basis for judgment on the prevention and treatment of endometrial cancer. At the same time, the harm of endometrial cancer cannot be underestimated.
