Introduction to primary liver cancer

Primary liver cancer is a tumor that occurs in the liver. It usually occurs in men aged 50-70. People with chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis and family history are more likely to get the disease.


The symptoms of liver tumors are mainly as follows:

1. Pain:

Pain in the liver area is the first symptom of liver tumor. The pain is mostly located in the right rib or under the xiphoid process. The nature is mostly intermittent or persistent dull pain, dull pain or stabbing pain. The pain may be mild or severe, and may also relieve itself in a short period of time. However, before the pain in the liver area, the patient may have obvious symptoms of discomfort in the right upper abdomen, which is a late symptom of liver tumor.

2. Digestive tract symptoms:

Decreased appetite, belching, indigestion, nausea, and upper abdominal fullness after meals are common symptoms of liver tumors, among which loss of appetite and abdominal distension are the most common.

3. Fever:

Sweating and fever are not symptoms of liver tumors in most cases, but moderate to low fever, or persistent high fever, are symptoms of liver tumors.

4. Weight loss and fatigue:

Unexplained weight loss and fatigue are also the most common symptoms of liver tumors, and the symptoms of fatigue and weight loss are very obvious. As the disease progresses, the weight loss may worsen, and cachexia may occur in severe cases.
