The relationship between skin cancer and genetic genes

The relationship between skin cancer and genetic genes

Skin cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in Caucasians. Its incidence rate is relatively low in my country, but it does not mean that it will not occur. The occurrence of skin cancer is related to many factors, but genetic issues have always been of particular concern to everyone. So what is the relationship between skin cancer and genetic genes?

However, studies have found that skin cancer is hereditary, and its incidence is closely related to family genes. This is because the essence of skin cancer is caused by gene mutations, so skin cancer is related to gene changes and personal physique. Some cancers are hereditary, and skin cancer may also be hereditary. There is a certain relationship between skin cancer and genetic genes. Gene mutations increase the risk of skin cancer. As a type of skin cancer, 14% of skin melanomas are related to gene mutations. Melanoma has become a dangerous and difficult to treat skin cancer. The survey also found that among patients with multiple melanomas, 21% have a family history of melanoma, so a family history of melanoma increases the risk of skin cancer. This shows that skin cancer is likely to be hereditary.

Nevertheless, the occurrence of skin cancer is still closely related to adverse acquired factors. People with a family history of the disease do not need to worry too much. They can prevent it by changing their lifestyle: try to avoid long-term contact with harmful chemicals such as asphalt, tar, arsenic, benzopyrene, etc., which are highly carcinogenic; prevent prolonged skin exposure; pay attention to ionizing radiation; actively treat the primary disease; strengthen physical exercise to improve physical fitness; protect against the sun by applying sunscreen, covering with clothes, etc.; eat more foods rich in vitamins C and E to help resist the sun.
