Love gene test shows high risk of gastric cancer

Gastric cancer is very common in my country, ranking first among all malignant tumors in my country. However, due to its low early detection rate and lack of specific molecular biological indicators for diagnosing tumors, gastric cancer is usually found in the middle and late stages. There are obvious regional differences in the incidence of gastric cancer. The incidence of gastric cancer in the northwest and eastern coastal areas of my country is significantly higher than that in the south. The age of onset is high, and the ratio of male to female incidence is 2:1.

The survival rate of early gastric cancer is relatively high in various countries, while the survival rate of late gastric cancer is as low as about 10%. This shows that the key to preventing gastric cancer lies in early prevention, early detection, and early treatment.
1. The occurrence of cancer is inseparable from genetic research. Cancer is a genetic disease and the onset of cancer is related to genetic abnormalities. Genetic testing uses some advanced technical means to detect and analyze the patient's genes to understand whether the patient's genes are abnormal.
There are no two leaves in the world that are exactly the same, and similarly, you will not find two people who are exactly the same even if you travel around the world. From the moment of life, the differences between people are "written" into their genes. According to the published human genome, 99.9% of the DNA sequence between people is the same, and there is only 0.1% difference in the DNA sequence. The extremely small but numerous differences in single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) affect each person's different races, skin colors, appearances, and most importantly, different sensitivities to various diseases.
2. Predict the risk of gastric cancer in advance and start with genetic testing. Genetic testing is to detect DNA molecules in blood, cells or other body fluids to obtain gene mutation information. Based on the mutation information, the risk of disease is assessed, so that people can understand their own genetic information and avoid or delay the occurrence of disease by improving their living environment and living habits.
Cancer gene testing technology originated in the United States. It makes judgments and assessments based on changes in gene loci to prevent possible cancers in the future.
