How much does early uterine cancer surgery cost

How much does early uterine cancer surgery cost

Speaking of the word cancer, I believe everyone will have a sense of fear. Although the quality of life has improved nowadays, the chance of getting sick is also getting higher and higher. For example, uterine cancer is one of the malignant tumors that has troubled female friends in recent years. Surgery is generally recommended for the treatment of this disease. So how much does surgery cost for the treatment of early uterine cancer?

The treatment principle of uterine cancer is to choose the appropriate treatment method according to the patient's age, physical condition, lesion range and histological type. Since the vast majority of endometrial cancers are adenocarcinomas, which are not very sensitive to radiotherapy, surgery is the main treatment. Other comprehensive treatments include radiotherapy, chemotherapy and drugs (chemotherapy, hormones, etc.). Early patients are mainly treated with surgery, and adjuvant therapy is selected according to the results of surgical-pathological staging and high-risk factors for recurrence; advanced patients are treated with comprehensive treatment including surgery, radiotherapy and drugs.
Surgery is the main treatment for uterine cancer. For early-stage patients, the purpose of surgery is surgical-pathological staging, accurately determining the extent of the lesion and its prognostic relevance, removing the diseased uterus and possible metastatic lesions, and determining the choice of postoperative adjuvant therapy. The surgical procedures generally include peritoneal lavage fluid examination, extrafascial total hysterectomy, bilateral ovarian and fallopian tube resection, pelvic lymph node dissection, and para-aortic lymph node resection.
The operation can be performed by laparotomy or laparoscopy. The operation should be a modified wide hysterectomy with pelvic lymph node and para-aortic lymph node dissection.
Cancer can kill people because of its invasiveness, recurrence and metastasis. The key to preventing recurrence is to achieve radical cure during the initial treatment and to have regular follow-up visits after treatment. Cancer recurrence often occurs within five years after treatment, especially within 2 to 3 years. Follow-up visits during this period are of course important, but regular follow-up visits are lifelong. The closer the time to the end of treatment, the shorter the follow-up interval should be. After uterine cancer surgery, regular check-ups should be performed to detect abnormalities in a timely manner.
Regarding the question of how much uterine cancer surgery costs, I actually cannot answer you here, because patients’ conditions are different, the surgical options will be different, and the corresponding costs will be different.
No matter what disease we suffer from, we should not be discouraged. We should have the confidence to defeat the disease. Never give up treatment and actively cooperate with the doctor. I believe that with everyone's efforts, we can defeat the disease!
