Can skin cancer be cured?

Skin cancer treatment can be cured by surgical excision. Of course, physical therapy, laser freezing and other methods can also be used. Some corrosive chemicals can also be applied to the affected area to corrode basal skin cancer.

Treatment:

1. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine can make up for the deficiencies of surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, consolidate the effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, eliminate the toxic side effects of radiotherapy, and more importantly, cut off the replication function of cancer cells, that is, cut off the important division of cancer cells-microtubule protein synthesis, so that the cell volume gradually shrinks, and stable anti-cancer cells are formed in the blood vessels, thereby improving the body's metabolic function, that is, by inhibiting the respiration of cancer cells, causing ischemia and hypoxia of cancer cells, and no longer fissioning, thereby achieving the purpose of curing cancer.

2. Surgical treatment

Surgery is the treatment of choice for skin cancer. Appropriate surgical excision can achieve a cure rate of 90% to 100%. During excision, the skin incision should be 0.5 to 2 cm away from the tumor, with sufficient depth and as wide an excision as possible. The excision of squamous cell carcinoma of the scalp, trunk, and limbs should be appropriately increased to 2 to 5 cm. For confirmed regional lymph node metastasis, lymph node washing should be performed, but preventive washing is not required. When bones or major blood vessels and nerves are affected, amputation and electrosurgical resection are better than simple surgical resection because dryness is conducive to the opening of the wound. Chemical surgery has better results, but it is time-consuming and costly. Skin grafting should be performed for those with a larger excision range.

3. Radiation therapy

Skin cancer is shallow, with clear borders, and accurate positioning for direct irradiation. Generally, squamous cell carcinoma is moderately sensitive to radiation, while basal cell carcinoma is particularly sensitive to radiation, and the skin has high tolerance. Lesions in exposed areas are prone to scarring, affecting beauty and function.
