How many days does it take to complete cervical cancer screening

The results of cervical cancer screening can be obtained in 5 to 7 days. Cervical cancer screening generally involves HPV and TCT examinations to check for abnormal cells and viral infection in the cervix, and to determine whether the cervix has lesions. TCT examination: a liquid-based thin-film cytology examination of cervical scraping is the most basic and main method for cervical cancer screening. PV and TCT have been widely used in clinical practice as routine screening for cervical cancer and precancerous lesions.

Can cervical cancer stage 2B be cured?

Stage IIB squamous cell carcinoma of cervical cancer requires radiotherapy or chemotherapy, targeted therapy. If the radiotherapy or chemotherapy is effective, and the condition is stabilized and can be treated surgically, the cure rate is high, generally around 20% to 30%. Stage 2b squamous cell carcinoma of cervical cancer is no longer limited to the cervix, but there is no invasion of the pelvic wall or the lower 1/3 of the vagina, the kidney function is normal, and the tumor is not particularly large. It is an early stage of cervical cancer. Stage 2B cervical cancer cannot be cured, but proper treatment can significantly prolong its survival.

Can the bivalent cervical cancer vaccine prevent it?

The bivalent cervical cancer vaccine is a preventive vaccine currently launched. HPV16 and HPV18 account for more than 70% of all HPV subtypes that cause cervical cancer. Therefore, targeting them is like hitting the snake at its most vulnerable position, which can give cervical cancer a fatal blow. There are dozens of cervical HPV subtypes, including low-risk and high-risk HPV subtypes. Generally, low-risk HPV infection will only cause cervical, vaginal, and vulvar condyloma acuminatum, but will not cause cervical cancer. The main difference between the bivalent and quadrivalent cervical cancer vaccines is that the bivalent vaccine mainly prevents HPV16 and HPV18 infections and is used for women aged 9 to 45.
