How to treat early stage uterine cancer

Endometrial cancer is a serious gynecological disease for female friends, which brings serious pain to people's lives. The uterus is a particularly important organ for female friends and it is the place where life is conceived. Therefore, for their future happy life, female friends must protect their uterus and avoid the occurrence of endometrial cancer. So how to treat endometrial cancer? Let me explain it to you below.

Endometrial cancer is one of the most common tumors in women. The occurrence of the disease can pose a great threat to the patient's life. However, if it can be treated promptly in the early stages, the recovery effect will be very good. So what is the best way to treat endometrial cancer? Let the experts give you a detailed introduction below.

Surgery for endometrial cancer can clarify the scope of the lesion, correctly perform clinical staging, and correctly determine the scope of surgery. In the past, according to the FIGO staging system in 1982, patients in stage I usually underwent total extrafascial hysterectomy plus bilateral adnexectomy; patients in stage II underwent extensive hysterectomy plus bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection. For patients in stages III and IV, surgery should be performed first if surgery is possible, and the lesion should be removed as much as possible to reduce the size of the tumor, and radiotherapy or progesterone therapy should be performed after surgery. Otherwise, progesterone, radiotherapy, and/or chemotherapy should be performed first and then surgery should be performed when surgery is possible. Other treatments are still required after surgery.

Clinical physicians are advised to perform traditional extrafascial total hysterectomy plus bilateral adnexectomy for stage I cancer, with a 2-cm vaginal incision, which is the appropriate surgical scope. For patients with myometrial invasion, especially deep myometrial invasion, the surgical scope is expanded, and a traditional stage II surgery is performed, with extensive hysterectomy plus pelvic lymph node dissection. Check whether there are enlarged lymph nodes in the aorta, and if so, perform para-aortic lymph node biopsy or/and conventional para-aortic lymph node dissection. For stage II and III, extensive hysterectomy plus pelvic and/or para-aortic lymph node dissection should also be performed according to the aforementioned surgical scope. Tumor reduction surgery should also be performed as much as possible for stage IV. In 1972, Milton compared the 5-year survival rates of total hysterectomy and sub-extensive hysterectomy (without lymph node dissection). This suggests that expanding the scope of hysterectomy (at least sub-extensive hysterectomy) helps reduce the postoperative recurrence rate.

The above introduces the treatment methods of endometrial cancer. I believe everyone is already clear about it. Gynecological experts say that if you have endometrial cancer, you must not only receive timely treatment, but also do a good job of nursing. In particular, you should eat more light and easily digestible foods, and avoid eating fried and spicy foods.

Through the above introduction, everyone has learned about the treatment of endometrial cancer. I hope it can be helpful to everyone. I hope that the majority of female friends must pay more attention to it and avoid the occurrence of endometrial cancer. You must pay attention to it in your daily life, do gynecological examinations regularly, pay attention to your daily diet, avoid the occurrence of the disease, and enjoy a healthy life.
