What causes itching in men?

Tinea cruris and tinea buttocks

Men who are obese and sweat a lot are more susceptible to fungal growth and reproduction due to their sweaty and moist skin, which can lead to tinea cruris or tinea glutealis, which manifests as ring-shaped red papules at the base of the thigh or buttocks, often with desquamation and itching.

Pubic lice

Pubic lice have special hooked claws that grab the skin in the pubic area and the sweat hair around the anus. The stimulation of their bites and saliva toxins can cause local skin itching, folliculitis, and eczema-like changes. Most couples are affected at the same time, so both parties should shave and burn their pubic hair, and their underwear should be boiled or ironed.
