1. Genetic factors: This does not mean that brain glioma is hereditary, but that due to the existence of some genetic factors, especially the defects of certain tumor suppressor genes, the possibility of glioma development in this type of person will increase under the influence of exogenous factors.

2. Ionizing radiation: Long-term exposure to a radiation environment, such as X-rays, γ-rays, nuclear radiation, etc., will increase the chance of developing glioma.

3. Infection: Some animal experiments have confirmed that certain viral infections can induce brain tumors, especially viral infections during pregnancy, which pose a greater threat to the future of the fetus.

4. Good living habits: such as being partial to certain types of food, drinking, smoking, etc. Although there is not enough evidence to prove that these factors are related to the occurrence of glioma, they have been confirmed to be related to the occurrence of gastrointestinal tumors and lung tumors.

5. Origin of tumor: There is a theory that the cause of tumor is the embryonic remnant of primitive cells growing into tumors. These remnant cells can cause chronic proliferation due to inflammatory stimulation and form tumors. Multiple gliomas or gliomas may have more than one tumor center.
