What are the symptoms of uterine cancer recurrence

Uterine cancer is one of the common diseases among women. It not only has a high incidence rate, but also a high recurrence rate. The recurrence of uterine cancer is caused by many factors, the most important of which is the recurrence of primary uterine cancer after treatment. If the surgery is not completely cured, the tumor may disappear on the surface, but in fact there are still some uterine cancer cells. So, what are the symptoms of uterine cancer recurrence?

What are the early symptoms of uterine cancer recurrence?

1. Vaginal bleeding Irregular vaginal bleeding is the main symptom of uterine cancer patients, especially vaginal bleeding after menopause should be paid more attention.

2. Increased vaginal discharge This is the main symptom of uterine cancer patients. It often occurs before vaginal bleeding. Initially, vaginal discharge may not have any odor. As the tumor grows, the tumor becomes infected and necrotic, the discharge increases, like rice washing water or mixed with blood, and has a foul odor.

3. Frequent urination, urgent urination, and painful urination. When the tumor spreads forward, it can invade the bladder. The patient will experience falling and frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, and hematuria. It is often misdiagnosed as a urinary tract infection and delayed diagnosis. In severe cases, bladder-vaginal fistula may form.

4. Pain. This is a symptom of advanced uterine cancer. The tumor extends along the adjacent tissues, invades the pelvic wall, and compresses the peripheral nerves. The clinical manifestation is persistent pain in the sciatic nerve or the sacral or iliac part of one side. The tumor compresses or erodes the ureter, causing narrowing and obstruction of the ureter, leading to hydronephrosis, which manifests as unilateral low back pain.
