Is thick blood hereditary?

Is thick blood hereditary?

More and more middle-aged friends often have some blood problems, such as high blood pressure or other problems. Some people have thicker blood, which can lead to blood vessel blockage and cause many problems and complications. Conditions like thick blood are not necessarily due to genetics, but may be related to one's own diet and lifestyle.

Thick blood is called hyperviscosity in medicine, which is common among middle-aged and elderly people.

It is caused by heredity and is more common in middle-aged and elderly people. It has nothing to do with it. It is related to lifestyle habits and diet. If they eat from the same pot or have the same eating habits, it is possible that their children's blood will be thick. So pay attention! It is recommended to eat less pasta and fatty foods, eat more fruits and vegetables, eat light food, and it is best to eat mainly vegetarian food. Pay attention to supplementing vitamin C, exercise more often, listen to light music and relax.

Drug treatment

Small molecule dextran

It can deaggregate red blood cells, reduce red blood cell aggregation and lower blood viscosity.

Fibrinogen-lowering drugs

Such as snake venom drugs. Suitable for those with elevated fibrinogen.

Oral medications

Increase the deformability of red blood cells. Such as oxathiocarbamide, calcium ion antagonists, etc. Drugs that reduce platelet aggregation, such as low-dose aspirin, are also good.

Prevention suggestions

Drink plenty of water

Water can be called a fast-acting diluent. The water lost after a night of deep sleep and the water consumed when digesting food are both factors that cause the blood to become more viscous. Drinking water can thin the blood immediately. But drinking water should be scientific. First of all, you need to grasp the right time, such as drinking 200 ml of water when you wake up in the morning, one hour before meals, and before going to bed at night. Secondly, choose water with good dilution effect: salt water can promote cell dehydration and is not advisable; cold water stimulates gastrointestinal vasoconstriction and hinders water absorption into the blood, so it is not suitable for drinking; purified water is too "pure", and its hypotonic state will cause water to enter the cells quickly, and the effect of diluting the blood is not ideal. The ideal dilution water is boiled water or light tea at 20-25℃, whose tension and density are close to those of blood and tissue cells, and is worth promoting.

Eat more foods that thin the blood

For example, foods that inhibit platelet aggregation and prevent thrombosis include black fungus, onions, bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, and fruits such as strawberries, pineapples, and lemons; foods that have anticoagulant effects similar to aspirin include tomatoes, red grapes, oranges, and ginger; foods that have lipid-lowering effects include celery, carrots, konjac, hawthorn, seaweed, kelp, corn, sesame, etc. In addition to containing a large amount of water, vegetables and fruits are also rich in vitamin C and crude fiber. Vitamin C can lower blood lipids, and crude fiber can prevent the absorption of cholesterol in the intestines, which helps reduce blood viscosity. Black fungus has a sweet and mild nature, and is rich in carbohydrates, inorganic salts, sulfur, magnesium and vitamin B. It has the effects of nourishing yin and promoting body fluid, activating blood circulation and anti-cancer. It can dilute platelet aggregation and reduce blood viscosity.
