How to adjust the glasses legs to different heights?

Glasses are a tool that can correct eye problems such as myopia. As time goes by, more and more types of glasses begin to appear in people's lives, bringing great convenience to people. However, during actual use, some problems may occur with the glasses. For example, if one leg of the glasses is high and the other is low, then the vision will be affected to a certain extent when wearing them. What should you do when you encounter such a situation?

The optical shop sells a wide variety of glasses, made of plates, plastics, and titanium alloys; full-frame, half-frame, and frameless; myopia glasses, hyperopia glasses, and reading glasses; polarized glasses, sunglasses, and blue-light blocking glasses; and of course, rare crystal mobile phone glasses.

These various types of glasses are all composed of key components such as lenses, bridges, and temples. Due to the uneven quality of materials and usage habits, after wearing glasses for a period of time, we will find that the legs of the glasses become one higher than the other. In other words, when you put on the glasses and look in the mirror, you will find that the frame is one higher than the other. It is possible that the left lens is flush with the lower edge of the eyebrow, while the right lens is still far away from the eyebrow. At this time, do you feel very uncomfortable? Especially many people have obsessive-compulsive disorder and pursue perfection. These people feel more and more uncomfortable the more they look at it, which affects their beautiful appearance.

In fact, this is still a psychological problem. Scientifically speaking, the high and low lenses of the glasses will change the corresponding pupil distance of the glasses. My vision, which used to be very comfortable, became tiring and dizzy because the pupil distance of the glasses no longer matched my eyes. Over time, it will cause decreased vision and astigmatism, so this phenomenon should not be underestimated. So, what should we do when we encounter this situation?

Many people try various methods to adjust their glasses after taking them off. Some "smart people" put the glasses flat on the table and found that one leg of the glasses was touching the table and the other leg was raised. So that's why it was the temples, so I used my hands to push the temples in the opposite direction to try to correct it. However, his cleverness backfired. When he put the glasses back on the table, the uneven temples became even more tilted upwards. That wasn't bad enough. What's worse is that the joints of the temples, which were originally tight, have become loose. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the hinge was bent out of shape and the screws were loosened. In a fit of anger, the glasses may be thrown away.

Next, I will teach you a method, which is actually very simple. The reason why the previous adjustment was not done well is because we misunderstood the reason why the temples were not level at the beginning. Many reasons for the deformation of our glasses are that we treat them roughly in daily use and do not maintain them carefully. For example, when taking off and putting on glasses, we operate with one hand, which can easily cause the glasses to deform. If the deformation is too large, the screws may become loose; if the deformation is too large, it may cause permanent non-rebound; if the deformation is too large, the glasses will be damaged over time.

Okay, without further ado, watch the video below. If one lens is higher than the other, we should not adjust the temples but the bridge of the glasses. The two ends of the center beam are connected to the left and right lenses. As long as we pinch the left and right frames close to the center beam with our left and right hands respectively, control the strength and twist them gently, we can adjust the temples into place. Whether it is metal or plate, it can be adjusted in this way. Only when the temples are level and worn on your ears (because your left and right ears are at the same height) can the frames remain at the same height. At this time, your eyes will feel very comfortable when looking at things.

Of course, in today's society, the blue light hazards brought by LED screens have become the sword of Damocles hanging over our heads. It is the real number one killer of myopia and blindness. If conditions permit, if you or your child has decreased vision, sore, swollen, painful eyes, often looks at mobile phones and TV, etc., it would be best to wear a pair of blue light blocking rare crystal mobile phone glasses.
