Symptoms of rectal cancer metastasis

Symptoms of colorectal cancer metastasis: patients with colorectal cancer often have doubts about whether colorectal cancer will metastasize. According to pathological changes, colorectal cancer can be divided into infiltrative type, ulcerative type and cauliflower type. Its metastatic pathways are direct spread, lymphatic metastasis, hematogenous metastasis and abdominal implantation. At present, it has jumped to the second place in the cancer rankings, so diet and lifestyle are the root causes of cancer.

The most common metastasis of rectal cancer is invasive metastasis. The speed of vertical infiltration along the longitudinal axis of the intestinal tract is slow, the infiltration distance is small, and it rarely exceeds the edge of the tumor by 2 to 3 centimeters. The horizontal infiltration is slightly faster than the longitudinal infiltration, and it can infiltrate 1/4 of the intestinal tract in about half a year. It takes about one and a half to two years to infiltrate one week, which is also relatively slow compared with other digestive tract tumors. In addition, after the tumor infiltrates deeply to the entire layer, it can spread to adjacent tissues and organs, and can adhere to and fix with surrounding tissues and organs.
Symptoms caused by local infiltration: When rectal cancer has extensive infiltration in the pelvic cavity, it can cause soreness and a feeling of fullness in the waist and sacrum. When the tumor infiltrates or compresses the sciatic nerve and obturator nerve roots, sciatic nerve and obturator neuralgia may occur. When the tumor invades the vagina and bladder mucosa, vaginal bleeding and hematuria may occur. When the tumor involves the ureters on both sides, urinary retention and uremia may occur.
