How to check for gallbladder cancer abscess

Tumors grow differently depending on the type of cells. If they stop growing to a certain size or grow slowly, they will not have much impact on healthy people throughout their lives. This is a benign tumor. On the contrary, if cells divide and grow very quickly, even affecting life, this is called a malignant tumor, or cancer. How to check for gallbladder cancer abscesses in the hospital?

The following checks are required

1. Blood tests often reveal anemia and increased white blood cell count and neutrophil count, and in a few cases there may be leukemoid reactions.

2. Serum biochemical examination shows increased serum total bilirubin, increased serum one-minute bilirubin, elevated alkaline phosphatase and cholesterol, increased α-glutamyl transpeptidase and other manifestations of obstructive jaundice. The increase is proportional to the degree of biliary obstruction and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate is accelerated.

3. Serum radioimmunoassays: So far, no specific tumor markers for gallbladder cancer have been found. The more commonly used ones are serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), various sugar chain antigens (CA19-9), and the increase of sialic acid (SA) and DNA polymerase (DNA-Plca), which are helpful for diagnosis. Among them, CA19-9 has a high positive rate, which has been reported to be as high as 81.3%. Early cancer can also be positive, and the increase increases with the depth of cancer infiltration into the gallbladder wall. Therefore, it has a certain reference value for the early diagnosis and treatment selection of gallbladder cancer.

4 Ultrasound Ultrasound examination is currently the first line of examination for diagnosing gallbladder diseases. Due to its advantages such as non-invasiveness, repeatability and economy, it has been widely used in clinical practice.
