So what are the pathological diagnostic criteria for pancreatic cancer in situ?

1. There is usually no obvious cause for the onset of the disease. The location of the upper abdominal discomfort is deeper and wider, and it is often difficult for patients to point it out accurately with their fingers.
2. There is no periodicity or seasonality like peptic ulcer disease, but there is a phenomenon of progressive aggravation, which gradually turns into dull pain, bloating and back pain. In the late stage, there will be persistent and severe abdominal pain and back pain, which usually worsens after eating, is heavier at night than during the day, and is heavier when lying on your back.
3. Generally, there is no or little pantothenic acid, and the efficacy of antacids is not significant or long-lasting.
4. The discomfort is often vague and the patient cannot describe it clearly. Some patients may initially feel discomfort after meals, which may then gradually become persistent and worsen after eating, or may have nothing to do with diet.
5. Often accompanied by fatigue and progressive weight loss. Weight loss is one of the important clinical manifestations of this disease. Ninety percent of patients have rapid and obvious weight loss, and some patients also have weight loss as the first symptom. Jaundice is one of the main symptoms for diagnosing pancreatic cancer. Jaundice of varying degrees occurs according to the characteristics of the tumor site. Jaundice occurs 100% of the time in nipple and ampulla cancer, and it will occur in the early stage. There is no jaundice in the early stage of pancreatic body and tail cancer, but in the late stage, when the cancer spreads to the pancreatic head or metastasizes to the common bile duct, lymph nodes, and liver, causing extrahepatic or intrahepatic bile duct obstruction, jaundice may occur. The nature of jaundice is obstructive, and it gradually deepens, showing dark yellow with green, accompanied by symptoms such as strong tea-like urine and skin itching. Once jaundice appears, it often does not subside. However, in some cases, jaundice can be temporarily alleviated or subsided due to factors such as temporary subsidence of edema and necrosis and shedding of cancer tissue.
