Treatment of liver metastasis from rectal cancer

Treatment of liver metastasis from rectal cancer

Rectal cancer is a common malignant tumor. Malignant tumors, or cancer, are the phenomenon or product of malignant growth caused by the loss of control of the mechanism that controls cell division in the human body. As we all know, cancer is a terrible disease that is difficult to cure. Rectal cancer is no exception, and the treatment of rectal cancer is very controversial, so it is even more difficult to treat. The most critical thing is that rectal cancer is prone to recurrence after surgical cure, and sometimes it will metastasize. So, will rectal cancer metastasize after early surgical cure?

First, let’s take a look at what rectal cancer is. Rectal cancer is a common malignant tumor at the junction of the dentate line to the rectum. This malignant tumor is located inside the pelvic cavity, so sometimes the anus is removed during surgical treatment, so the treatment of this cancer is extremely controversial.

So how to treat rectal cancer? First of all, for patients in the early stages of rectal cancer, the chances of being cured are extremely high. Many patients generally use chemotherapy, while some patients also use conservative treatment methods, both of which can effectively treat colon cancer.

As mentioned before, rectal cancer is located in the pelvic cavity and is not easy to operate on. Therefore, it is very likely that surgery will not be able to remove all cancerous tissues, so many people will experience metastasis after surgery. For patients with early liver cancer after surgery, they should go to the hospital for regular checkups. If there are any abnormalities in the body, it may also be metastasis.

Please note that rectal cancer is different from other cancers. Some of its symptoms are similar to hemorrhoids. Therefore, you must be careful when distinguishing between rectal cancer and hemorrhoids to avoid misdiagnosis.
