What are the symptoms of liver cancer in children

Among the middle-aged and elderly population, the proportion of males suffering from liver cancer is relatively high. Patients with hepatitis diseases are also at high risk of liver cancer. Due to the severe environmental pollution in recent years, the probability of children suffering from liver cancer is also increasing. Parents must pay attention to their children's physical condition and health when taking care of their children. What are the symptoms of liver cancer in children? Let's take a closer look at this issue.

1. Pain of unknown cause: such as joint pain, abdominal pain, headache, etc.

2. Abnormal light reflection from the eyes: The eyes of infants and young children reflect light abnormally (such as cat's eyes); or they have vision problems, strabismus, or protruding eyeballs.

3. Fever of unknown cause: Fever of unknown cause that lasts for more than two weeks and is not effective with antibiotics.

4. Purpura or bleeding tendency: bruises or purple-red bleeding spots often appear on the skin surface for no reason, or there is mucosal bleeding (such as nosebleeds, bleeding gums).

5 Pale face: The child has a pale face for no reason, that is, the lips and conjunctiva are bloodless, accompanied by fatigue, loss of appetite, and gradual weight loss.

6 Enlarged liver and spleen or a lump in the upper abdomen: The liver and spleen are close to the bottom of the ribs on both sides. If you press them with your hand and feel a lump, it means they are enlarged; or you can feel an obvious lump in the upper abdomen.

7. Unexplained lumps: Children have unexplained lumps on their skin that tend to grow larger.

8. Lymph node enlargement: Unexplained systemic or local (such as submandibular, subcervical, axillary, and groin) lymph node enlargement without tenderness.

9 Routine blood examination: if the white blood cell count is too high or too low, or accompanied by a decrease in red blood cells, hemoglobin and thrombocytopenia, etc.

10. Neurological symptoms: such as unexplained vomiting, unsteady walking, headache, facial nerve paralysis, etc.

Most children develop liver cancer partly due to poor family environment and poor care, but this is only a minority phenomenon. The success rate of treating children's diseases is also increasing year by year, providing children with the ability to regenerate their health. Therefore, if a child is found to have the above symptoms, you should be alert to the occurrence of liver cancer and treat it as quickly as possible.
