Diagnosis of uterine cancer

Diagnosis of uterine cancer

With the development of modern society, the incidence of many diseases is also on the rise, and uterine cancer is one of them. Next, let the experts analyze and introduce to you what are the diagnostic methods for uterine cancer ? I hope it will be helpful to you.

(I) B-ultrasound: Understand the size of the uterus, the thickness of the endometrium, whether there are any abnormalities in the uterine cavity, and whether the myometrium is involved. The typical sonogram shows that the uterus is enlarged or larger than the menopausal age, and there are irregular and uneven solid echo areas in the uterine cavity, and the uterine cavity line disappears. When the myometrium is obviously involved, irregular and unclear echo areas can be seen in the myometrium. However, in the very early stage, only the uterus is normal in size and the uterine cavity lines are disordered or interrupted. This is the diagnosis method of uterine cancer.

(ii) Segmental curettage: This is the most commonly used and valuable method for diagnosing uterine cancer and can distinguish between uterine cancer and cervical adenocarcinoma.

(III) Cytological smear: Cytological examination is performed by taking samples from cervical scraping, posterior vaginal fornix smear and endocervical canal aspiration, but the positive rate is not high and the positive results are only for screening, so it is rarely used clinically. This is also a diagnostic method for uterine cancer.

(IV) Hysteroscopy: This type of uterine cancer can be diagnosed by directly observing the uterine cavity to understand the size, location, and shape of the lesion. It can also perform hysteroscopic curettage or biopsy and send it for pathological examination, which helps to find smaller and early lesions.

(V) Others: CT, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and lymph node angiography can all show tumor images and can be used as appropriate when necessary. This is also a diagnostic method for uterine cancer.

The above is the diagnosis method of uterine cancer. I hope everyone can understand it. As long as these diagnosis methods of uterine cancer are combined, patients can be better diagnosed and treated, which will also be helpful for later treatment. Therefore, patients must learn more about the above diagnosis methods of uterine cancer. I wish all patients can fight the disease to the end.
