9-month-old baby refuses to eat complementary food_9-month-old baby refuses to eat complementary food

Many nine-month-old babies become naughty. They may not like to eat the complementary food made by their mothers. For this kind of picky eating phenomenon of babies, mothers should control their babies in time when they are young, so that they can achieve nutritional matching. In addition, when babies do not eat complementary food, it may be because they feel stomach discomfort. So what should I do if my nine-month-old baby does not eat complementary food?

Is your baby's bowel movement good recently? Babies with indigestion or internal heat will have a loss of appetite. You said that your baby doesn't eat anything except milk now, and even if he does eat, he has to be fed with a bottle, otherwise he would rather go hungry than eat. Can you observe if there is something wrong with my baby's mouth? Is it because the baby is teething and the discomfort of the gums affects the baby's eating?

Babies under 1 year old should still rely mainly on breastfeeding. Babies aged 9 months should breastfeed about 4 times a day, with 180-210ml of breast milk each time. Complementary food should be added twice a day. Babies who eat milk powder and complementary food should be fed boiled water between meals. If the baby drinks less water, his urine will turn yellow and his stool will become dry.

The mother should find out the reason for the baby's anorexia. Common reasons are:

1. Is the baby sick or unwell? Is there anything abnormal in the oral cavity? Or is the baby recovering from an illness?

2. Is the baby lacking in trace element zinc, which causes the baby's taste and appetite to decrease?

3. Whether the type of food, amount of food, feeding time, etc. fed to the baby are nutritionally reasonable.

If your baby is sick, see a doctor as soon as possible. Usually, you can cook the food into a fine, soft and tender shape, and pay attention to the color and taste. You can feed your baby with: tender porridge, tender noodles, milk, egg yolk, fish paste, soy products, etc. You can try to let your baby eat by himself. If anorexia does not improve, you can take your baby to see a doctor. Under the doctor's guidance, your baby can take some digestive and stomachic medicines, or rule out a deficiency of the trace element zinc. Babies with zinc deficiency have poor appetite.

My baby had a good appetite a few days ago. Is it because he ate too much of his favorite food and caused indigestion? Indigestion, also known as "food accumulation" or "stagnation", is a disease name in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a gastrointestinal disease caused by improper diet, which affects the child's digestive function and causes food to stagnate in the gastrointestinal tract.

The disease has a higher incidence rate among infants and young children. It is mostly caused by excessive eating, improper feeding, or excessive consumption of raw and cold fruits and vegetables and difficult-to-digest food, which causes food to stagnate in the stomach and intestines and damage the spleen and stomach.

The main symptoms of baby's food accumulation are:

1. The baby keeps turning over and over during sleep, and sometimes even grinds his teeth. As the saying goes, if you don't eat well, you won't sleep well.

2. The baby's appetite, which had been very big recently, has shrunk and his appetite is obviously poor.

3. The baby often says that his stomach is bloated and hurts.

4. You can find that both sides of the baby's nose are blue. The tongue coating is white and thick. You can also smell a sour and rancid smell in your breath.

If your baby has the above symptoms, it is a sign of indigestion. Indigestion can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, anorexia, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, bad breath, fever in the hands and feet, yellow skin, and mental depression.

Nursing attention:

1. Massage to help digestion, pinch the spine: The child lies face down, and the parents pinch both sides of the spine with the thumb, index finger and middle finger of both hands, pressing as they pinch, from bottom to top, and then from top to bottom, pinch 3-5 times, once every night. Rub Zhongwan: The Zhongwan acupoint is halfway between the center of the chest and the navel. Parents should use the base of their palms to rotate and massage twice a day. Massage Yongquan: The Yongquan point is located at the sole of the foot. Press and massage with your thumb, rotating it 30-50 times, twice a day.

2. Exercise to help digestion, outdoor exercise: insist on outdoor activities, when the weather is cold, choose a sunny and windy time, and go out for half an hour to an hour every day. Post-meal walk: Take a gentle walk for half an hour to an hour after a meal.

3. Digestion with medicine: strictly follow the doctor's instructions.

4. Digestion: The three meals a day should be a little "short", choose light vegetables, easily digestible rice porridge, noodle soup, noodles, etc. Do not eat fried or puffed foods, eat less or even no meat, and you can eat some fish and shrimp appropriately.
